Born in Haiti, Solange is a self-taught artist who works primarily in acrylic on canvas and favors bold colors. Her pieces incorporate circles, swirls, and small dots, with a signature heart always hidden somewhere within the work. When Solange isn’t painting original art, she likes to recreate album covers of recording artists such as the Allman Brothers, Derek and the Dominos, the Grateful Dead, David Bowie, and Little Feat. Solange draws inspiration from anything and everything.
