Jade Saren is a great dancer with a unique painting style that incorporates the tactile sensation of working with bottles of paint, ephemera, and found objects.  Jade’s process is experimental and playful as she squeezes acrylic paint onto canvas to create whimsical organic shapes and densely layered compositions. She works on several canvases at a time, and sometimes “sandwiches' ' the paintings together to create diptychs. Jade incorporates her aesthetic of overlapping layers and genius with color into her ceramic pieces as well as her rug work that she refers to as her “quilt”.
